I think that is the name. The show on the Zambezi River.

Saw it yesterday, except for a couple jabs at Trophy Hunting, I liked it. One small problem I had with it. It starts out with raindrops in the NW of Zambia, follows that all the way down to Chobe, Vic Falls, Kariba, to the confluence of the Luangwa .... then completely skips every part of Mozambique except the Zambezi flowing into the sea.

Really? No mention of Lake Cahora Bassa? No Zambezi Delta?

I was looking forward to the Mozambique portion of the film. Maybe they made it to the Luangwa and ran out of money?

Anyway, it is worth watching. Showed Giant Sable of Angola, some insane bosses on Buffalo in Zambia maybe? Mana Pools, Luangwa, Kariba, Vic Falls. The camera work was good. Lots of pretty pictures to look at. Smiler

I watched two shows on life in AK last night on NatGeo and I was stunned how much hunting they showed. No kill shots, but they showed dead stuff. It was quite interesting.

Most folks that watch Nat Geo would expect dead animals in Alaska. It's where those meat eating barbarians live ya know. There's no sense in trying to change us. They are waiting for us to die out.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
