I spoke with Johan Calitz yesterday and he said it was pretty dead. Not a ton of people came through the show from what I understand.

Hi Terr,

Yesterday afternoon and this morning was slow but after 4 it picked up and looked a little better.

Booked 1 PG hunt and hopefuly the leopard is gone.....just waiting for the all important deposits to come in to confirm those bookings.

Lot of interest in buffalo óf course.

We are all hoping for a good turn out in the morning.

I must say one thing. We probably have Africa's finest in one room here, apart for Zim not being that well represented, unless I miss something. I'm just a little guy in big company, but there are some big outfits that support this event.

Had a great party last night, and took Crowkiller (Matt, for dinner this evening.

Hope to meet some of you folks down there.

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

I talked to an exhibitor at the Charlotte show Friday, and he said it was pretty slow, maybe things picked up on Saturday. I look forward to how things finally turned out. Hopefully someone will post a report.

Hello All - The Charlotte Show did not have a lot of people but the important thing was that the quality of people were there. Qualified attendees were there and booking hunts! It was reported one of the exhibitors sold a $250k hunt.

The Charlotte community needed to see the quality and they did and they have committed to help support the show and make it a destination show. We are all very excited about that and the organizers are committed to the future success of the show. The who's who of Africa was there and will come be back again next year. They want to grow with the show. We all look forward to next year. The show is moving to the Charlotte Convention Center and the 5-star Westin Hotel, January 26-28, 2012. We hope to see you there.
