Great post Kathi, the leopard from Namibia (I think further in the article they referred to him as "Tyson") is unbelievable, what a beast. I also find it interesting that they were not described by skull size, rather weight. stir

shame jumping

I guess it shows they don't study the record books or more accurately, the modern ones..... The old ones are quoted there.

FWIW Iran is supposed to have some real porkers by way of leopards and maybe one of our other members might know something more of that?

I was surprised to not see anything on Ethiopia as I have heard from several (first hand), that there are some toads.

I think they also seem to have a higher percentage of black leopards up there as well.....

My advise to you all is to hunt the smallest leopard that you can find. That way the mauling you will take will be less serious than if it was a really big cat.

After a few years of participation on forums, I have learned that:

One can cure:

Lack of knowledge – by instruction. Lack of skills – by practice. Lack of experience – by time doing it.

One cannot cure:

Stupidity – nothing helps! Anti hunting sentiments – nothing helps! Put-‘n-Take Outfitters – money rules!

My very long ago ancestors needed and loved to eat meat. Today I still hunt!

Wow that cat is huge. All of the cats on that site are giants, but this one's skull looks enormous.

I have deleted my post above as I didn't want anyone to think I was serious. I have the utmost respect for both Lane and Aaron and I should not have posted that. Lane and Aaron my appologies.

I am sure Lane & Aaron can find humor in themselves, sometimes we could use a little more of it around here. Big Grin
