I won't be able to do something like this for some time but if you don't mind satisfying my curiosity, where are the best elephant in africa right now and some outfitters in that area? Smiler

You take them to Mexico or Canada where you have your second house and then drive over the border Big Grin..Just kidding you just send them to Sweden to be stored until you can get them imported Smiler

Big ivory is where you find it, and that depends greatly on luck. Namibia's Caprivi, Botswana, Zambia (20 permits this year), Zimbabwe can on occasion produce good ivory, Tanzania, Mozambique (no import for USA) and at times RSA. Are you looking for thick tusks or long tusks?

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

That's true for NG42, but in Johan's other areas it's the $5K per 10# over 59.5 lbs. The daily rate is a little higher in the other areas though.

I'd love to say that I can take care of it for the lucky hunter but sadly Australia does not allow the import of any Ivory. Frowner
