While Karl is the president, he is blessed to have a wonderful wife to help him carry the great big load of such responsibility.

Karl and Rebecca are two of the finest folks around. They both have great business acumen, an abiding passion for hunting and a genuine compassion for those in our sport who fall on hard times... and it's all spiced with a great sense of self-depreciating humility and humor.

Just ask them to tell you the story of the broken ankle in Africa. Roll Eyes

I'm a proud life member of DSC... and even more delighted that Karl will be manning the captain's chair this year. It will be a better club and advocate for all us because of his leadership.

Thanks to all who wished me well, it is a big job and I will work hard to keep DSC one of the premier hunting clubs in the world. As JudgeG says, I am blessed with a wife who shares my passion for hunting, is a lot smarter than me (although I did get her to marry me) and not afraid of hard work.

Thanks again, I will work hard to make sure DSC continues to do the "right thing".

Alright, now that you're in charge, I want a new TROPHY category started.
It should be judged by age & cup size.
I'm talking about the babes with the older men at the convention.

Congrats Karl! Wishing you all the best! DSC has a great thing going and I'm confident it will continue. Keep up the good work. You're a lucky man, with a wife that's bought into the deal as well.

Bill, you are very welcome and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Cecil,Cecil,Cecil...I don't think that would work, but if we should decide to add such a category, I'll be sure and ask your wife if you can be one of the judges.

Congratulations Karl. Excellent news and I know you will do a fine job representing one of the finest outdoor organizations in the world!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
