Got mine today. Had been opened but no visible damage.

Saeed, I truly hope I someday get a chance to repay your kindness, but in the meantime, as a gesture of thanks, I will take a pass on the next TWO opportunities to make fun of your buddy Walter Wink

Saeed thank you, thank you, thank you. Your generosity is such a welcome relief from the more common me,me,me syndrome we suffer in the world today.

i received mine several months ago but today was the first chance i had to really sit down and watch them. watched the first 3 and a number of things came to mind
1. Saeed must carry a separate suitcase just to hold all the gum that he chews.
2. unless i win the lottery, i could never afford the trophy fees thus far, not to mention the rest of the hunt. better buy another ticket tomorrow.
3.no scenes of charges- must be because everything is dead when the hunting party arrives.
4. he takes a LOT of pictures. Saeed, when do you ever find the time to edit the thousands of shots you take??
5. last but not least, Saeed is a damn fine shot so no dramatic charges are forthcoming.

can't wait to delve into the other DVD's tomorrow. thanks again to our website host for chance to experience a magnificent hunt.... WELL DONE, SIR!!

Gentlemen,

You are all very welcome, I just hope you enjoy our adventure.

Regarding the chewing gum and sweets.

I buy several packets of assorted hard sweets and chewing gums, all full of sugar.

I have no time for all the non-sugar things they sell nowadays.

I normally have a bag full of sweets and chewing gum in my camera bag - which doubles as an ammo bag t00.

I also carry some in my pockets when we are walking.

These come in handy after chasing an animal for a few hours and we stop for a rest. I share them around with everyone.

The trackers appreciate this very much.

Cherwing gum sometimes come in handy when it rains.

We were in the truck, and the rifles are stored muzzle up. As it started to rain, I took the chewing gum out of my mouth and stuck it at the end of the barrel, to stop the rain going in.

I normally have two cameras with me. A small pocket camera that I carry all the time in my pocket. And a bettr quality sort of bridge camera that I leave in the truck.

Last year's models were a Canon SX 260 HS and a Panasonic FZ150.

I also have an SLR, which normally left at the camp, unless we know we are going some place specifically to take lots of pictures.

Last year I had the Canon 7D.

I’ve been traveling, and have had a lot of company lately, and as a result have only been able to view the first five DVDs, but have been laughing non-stop from the first DVD’s section with the Mopani bees! They were trying to get to honey, but I'm not sure they make honey because I don't think they are bees at all but tiny wasps. Big Grin
My wife and I got a big kick out of the guy trying to back up the branch while fighting the bees. These DVDs are well done because they are not just rack-um and stack-um but include camp life, and things like the trip down off the hills into the river valley which brings to the novice a look at the hard work involved in hunting some of this country. This dispels the idea that safari hunting is simply riding around in the hunting car and shooting defenseless animals.

So far these things are a treasure, and are a very nice gift that my family greatly appreciates.

Saeed,
Received your dvd's today in reasonably good condition. The "authorities" were a little heavy handed and damaged one container, and I think one disc may be missing...8 in one container, 7 in the other. Most importantly, thank you so much for your generosity and your willingness to share with your fellow hunters in so many ways. Can't wait to get home and start watching!

Saeed,

Thank you for the videos. Although they did not make it to our FOB while deployed, they somehow got turned around in the correct direction and made it here back in the states. I appreciate all that you have done and will send the videos back overseas as soon as they are watched.
Request was sent 11 December and it made it to us back in states in April. Cases are crushed into many pieces but all the DvD's look to be in good shape. They had on heck of a trip!

Thank You

Saeed, just wondering; do you carry any ear plugs while hunting, or when sighting in the .375?

Also, I'm pretty sure you have said this a bunch, but it's the same bullet and load for any animal right? Or do you carry some solids, if you encounter elephant.

I've watched a few kills now on disc one, all DRT.

I don't wear ear protection while hunting.

We all use two rifles in the same caliber - 375/404, and one bullet, our own Walterhog 300 grain bullet.

I do carry a few Walterhog Solids in case we find a decent elephant.

There really is nothing special about our bullets. They work because of correct bullet placement.

And I am sure any decent bullet would work just the same.

I am really enjoying watching my DVDs. I loved the scene where they were doing the butt crawl to some buffalo and that bull walks straight toward them, he had to wave his hat to keep him from coming TO CLOSE! How close was that bull?

From some of the results some of our members are getting, it seems those padded bags are not good enough to ship the DVDs in.

So we have ordered some heavy duty cardboard boxes to use from now on.

The padded bag worked fine to Japan, but perhaps some postal services are not so careful. Thanks again!
