Forgive my photography, I'm obviously not a good photographer, but here are a few of the fantastic mounts at the convention.

I saw most of those, but the Bison/Horse mount is really cool! I thought the cougar/muley/Gigantic tree mount was a bit much for what the mount was, but excellent taxidermy nonetheless.

Thanks for posting these!

Thanks for sharing. If you have more I hope you can post them. While I missed this year, I spent many hours admiring the taxidermy in past years.

The leopard jumping out of the bait tree after being shot (pic 7) is rather unique..... but not quite what I would like to remember the cat by had I shot it. Unique none the less.

I wonder who shot the horse and Injun (no offense intended) in the first trio of Pics for the skin to make the mount? Big Grin

The lion being "speared" by the sable is a bit too much immagination IMHO but great artistry for sure!

I don't like the buffalo at all. Out of proportion.

Bwanamitch,
You can't tell it from the angle of the photo, but the leopard jumping out of the tree is actually attacking a bushbuck.

SWAWBO,

I don't get much time to look around the show but the lioness licking herself was my favorite. Sadie and I got to the show fairly early one morning and did get to look at some of the great stuff. That lioness was excellent!
