AH is running a thread about Royal Kafue and myself.

There is really not much I can say as I am in court but Paul Tudor Jones who bought the adjoining Mushingashi estates now claims my project. At this time and coincidentally I endured an ugly smear campaign from dubious members of the Kiandu community and can you believe I was investigated for double murder, elephant poaching, the rape of a dozen women, and a host of other ridiculous accusations including the race card of which I was exonerated. Both my kids and I had our lives threatened and endured knife attacks. My scouts were beaten and my camp and all my possessions were burnt or stolen. I and the legal Government registered Trust are contesting the current situation and atrocities that we had to endure.

Once I have been through the judicial system I will fully explain the coincidences.

Oh my Andrew I recall that you had some issues but never imagined so serious in scope and magnitude. Scary and I can only imagine the impact and continued toll on not just the business and hunting, but you and your family. I appreciate you likely want to stand and fight but as I’m sure you are, please consider the well-being of your family as there is nothing more important than this.

Thanks, Bill, and I refuse to have my family threatened and it got ugly, and had to have an armed scout outside my tent and set up a perimeter just to sleep. My three favorite camp elephants were slaughtered in the interim and I have been advised not to go back although the majority of the community wants me to return.

Andrew, very sorry to hear that you are still battling this nonsense. I wish there was more that I could do, but you will find mine and several other supportive posts over on AH.

Really pleased to see the photo of the magnificent sable with you and Mike Taylor newly posted over on Instagram. Hunting Zambia's most iconic game animal with its most renowned PH is a memory I will cherish to the grave. God speed in your current fight.

Hi Andrew,

I read the AH forum topic yesterday concerning you.

I was not sure how to take the topic starter and what his angle of attack on you was trying to accomplish. Other then to stir up mud, resulting in loss of clients.

He had no first hand knowledge of anything he spoke of, however he was going of hearsay in formation. And i am thinking to see if someone would verify it.

Too many tire kickers, taking sides without any knowledge on what is taking place. Sometimes it is best to remain quiet, if you cannot add positive contents to the discussion.

I remember you had earlier laid out most of what was happening. Just a little as you knew that this would end up in court.

Wishing you the best going forward.

Andrew, I hope you have good legal counsel and that the Zambian courts have more integrity than most others in Africa.

I don't think I need say more than that Paul Tudor Jones is a hedge fund billionaire.

Stay strong, my friend, and don't hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do to help.

Sorry you are having to deal with that Andrew.
Most of the billionaires unfortunately play buy their own sets of rules by buying influence. It’s not a level playing field at all. The ones I have dealt with are self centered, cold, greedy people who only care about their own personal gratification, caring little at all who they hurt along the way.Hopefully the court system sees the light in your favor.

Andrew I followed the progress of Royal Kafue through the hunt reports of AR (I prefer AR to AH) over the years. I noticed that your recent offers and hunts seemed to be in other areas and there was no more reference to Royal Kafue. Sad to hear that a promising project has fallen victim to greed and jealousy.
Best of luck in your fight, they may take your assets but they cannot take your integrity.

As one person above noted, Andrew has been hunting all over Zambia for a while now lately, and I have been hunting with him. I hunted three times with him on Royal and had great success. Since this trouble with Paul Tudor Jones, I have hunted with Andrew in another two or three other locations in Zambia and have had more great hunting. I am hunting with him again this year, returning to the Luangwa Valley.

As many of you here on AR know, Andrew is a professional, a great PH, and a man of honor. This is why I have hunted with him so much. He is the best PH I have experienced after hunting with other good ones in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

As stated before, Andrew deserves none of this treatment. I wish you all the best Andrew in your legal battles, and I am looking forward to our hunt together this year.

Really this is a retort to the AH thread on which I cannot comment. Racism was mentioned but I forged a communal partnership and a new model for Zambia. Now they view their lands from behind an electric fence!

I don't go to AH very much but I just happened to get on when the thread about Andrew started, and I was like WTF is this bullshit. Seemed to me to be an attack on Andrew and all the work and progress he has made in Zambia.
A few immediately called the OP out on his intent, while others did the reach around on him.

I never hunted with Andrew but have followed his reports. Corresponded with him when at the time when his son Ryan was in the states for school. I would think most here would agree Andrew is a no bullshit straight shooter.

Andrew I can't imagine the emotions and stress you and your family are going through during this ordeal. Keep up the good fight and never give the hell up. The wilds of Africa need men of your caliber.

Sorry for all of this. PTJ seems to be taking all he can afford under his wings in several African Countries. The results he has achieved in places like Grumeti and Malilingwe are phenominal. However, resorting to these tactics is a disgrace!

He will be hard to beat. stay strong.

There is a “price“ to pay for most everything!!! In regards to marketing on the AH forum, I may be wrong, but I believe it’s something like $2500 per year to advertise on the site.

Just saw where Jim/Frostbit got his hands slapped. From a business perspective, if I am paying good money to advertise the last thing I would want would be heavy-handed policing of the members posts and contributions, as this obviously reduces my potential future client pool. Nor would I want to pay to advertise to the same old stale membership roster.

Only price you pay on AR is to stand on your own two feet.

Integrity and honesty.

They go a very long way to support your business.

When AH first came out I joined and messed around on it for a short time, but quickly became annoyed with it, left and have not been back. I am not much of a forum person, but have stayed with AR due to the lack of advertising and the influence on forum administration that always seems to go along with it.

Bill,

I posted three hunt reports over there back in 2015 or so at the request of members that hang out both at AH & AR. In one of the hunt reports I mentioned all the information I learned at AR in preparation for the trip.

Without warning or notice my post was edited to remove that information.

I told them at the time this was unacceptable and I was gone.

I had not posted there since until the thread on Royal. It seems their rules haven't changed.

Cheers
Jim

I tried to register there years ago. It didn’t work, but I still get their marketing emails.

It’s a for profit site, and I’m not that impressed, but more pro hunting sites are always good.

I do think that a site like that has some responsibility to the hunting public to be either completely open for rebuttal, or be actively removing content that is questionable.

Their owner has a bit of liability here in my mind… maybe not legal, but certainly morally.

I never knew any of this other than the one camp you posted here was burnt and believe you rebuilt it. IF you posted more of this I've missed it.

IF my health and funds allowed me to make a trip like you provide. It would be with you.

Thanks, Gentlemen and as noted there is a series of court processes to be completed before I can disentangle all these coincidences. When PTJ purchased the Mushingashi estates I was overjoyed and simply presumed he would enhance the communal project as he has done so in other areas in Africa with great success. But there were certain unsavory characters who quickly saw an opportunity to make a fast buck.

So, I don’t attend AH, but did go over there and find the thread (I think). Admittedly, I do not recognize any of the posters (other than those whose names match AR). I did not see the negativity that was taken from the OP. I do agree that it makes you raise your eyebrow, but could not determine either way. That was followed by some amount of piling on (to Andrews defense), to which the OP quickly stated his intentions were genuine. Can someone tell me what I am missing here?
