I'm actually surprised this hasn't been posted here already, but yesterday the UK House of Commons had a discussion about "Trophy Hunting". A link a client sent me took me to their official Facebook page asking for comments from the public with the caveat that they might read some of the comments. I commented and the replies to my comments were as expected.

A link to the original Facebook post and minutes from the official discussion are below.

Nice how they quote "The campaign to Ban Trophy" as their source of facts for the debate. What a bunch of garbage.

That is the whole point!

Do you really think politicians would ever discuss anything to reach common sense??

Britain is nothing but a sad shadow of its past.

Politically it’s on a par with America.

Yes Saeed, America is turning into crap too and I don't think Trump can stop it. The democrats hate him far more than they love america or do they even love america?

DSC/DSCF produced a series of videos on trophy hunting and the benefits it provides. CIC (International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation) presented these videos to Michael Gove, the Secretary of Environment, Forestry and Rural Affairs. Hopefully, he will learn something from these if he takes the time to view and listen.

I have read the minutes.
As a 'youngish' big game hunter, I feel utterly depressed after reading guff like 'Tiger hunting' from one Labour MP.
Our Politicians need to be paid much much more to attract people with half a brain to the job.

Politicians are like a bunch of bananas, they hang together, they are all yellow and there is not a straight one amongst them.

I don't expect any good from this "consultation" and discussion by the House of Commons.
