My friend is looking for current procedure for proper documentation for importation of leopard from Mozambique to US. He is about to do hunt. I’ve gotten my own leopards home to US with little problem, but that was several years ago. Any up to date info is appreciated. This stuff seems to change whimsically Thanks, D. Nelson

Same application process (the application itself is more streamlined), but it's a case by case basis so takes a lot longer. This year seems to me taking 6-8 months vs. 60 days last year. The outfitter or agent will have all details regarding what's needed for the application. Mozambique takes a while to ship trophies, but he/she should go ahead and apply ahead of time to get the ball rolling on the application. Hope this helps. I imported one myself this year. It wasn't difficult at all.

Can you give me a step by step? Where to get form? Contact info etc? My friend has never done this himself. Thanks, D. Nelson

Got the application from US Fish & Wildlife. I think he can do the rest from there. Thanks, D. Nelson
