this mount was done in RSA and that speaks for itself. as to whether or not the person doing the work was eating mealy meal, i have no idea and neither do you.

Dollar,
Are you saying you think the work is "better" that side? As it "Speaks for Itself.

Gentlemen: Once again a simple post is hi-jacked into a pissing match. For the love of Jesus, PLEASE STOP THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR! This sort of activity makes me sick to my stomach. I sincerely appreciate all of you, and I can fathom each and every opinion. However, I do not give a damn whether anyone but me and my God thinks I did a good or bad thing on my hunt. I specifically stated my Lion wasn't drugged; he wasn't shot from a truck; he wasn't within a small or medium enclosure, but yes, he was within 65,000 acres. It had no problem eluding us until we almost ran into him head on. It chose to stand and fight as opposed to run. He was however real pissed off from the moment he laid eyes on me and a charge ensued. That's why I signed a release of liability and yes, I was backed up with a stopping double rifle, but no one shot the Lion but me. I enjoyed my hunt; I am happy with MY Lion; I would do it again if I could afford it. My hunt cost $10,000 grand more because I didn't want a "canned" hunt. So please remember who is watching us: our enemies, and come Tuesday we may have more than ever. I won't swim in your toilet so PLEASE don't piss in my pool.
All respect,
LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

LDK paid a lot of money for that awesome cat and deserves all of the accolades that go along with it, or for that matter, any fine trophy.

Folks, this is why there are Fords and Chevys, etc.- To each his own!! No laws were apparently broken, so say what you might, but, it is the pompoas-ass'd snob that would berate such a fine trophy!

Good job LDK - I'd be proud of that cat too!

LDK,
Great lion. I am glad you enjoyed your hunt.
What did they do different for your hunt, that they charge you $10K more? What other animals were in the high fenced? How long were the lions in there before you got there. What is normal procedure for $10K less. Not trying to stir the pot, I am interested.
Thanks,
