Bill, I wouldn't have a clue, maybe Walter or one of our resident PH's could give a close guess?

505,

This croc would have been between 14 and a half feet and 15 with the end of tail?

I estimate him to be to be 1,000 lbs, maybe more. Note the Lion you shot last year in Zim was 500 lbs.

Croc like this would have see David Livingston paddling by.
even though my croc was about 1 1/2 feet longer as measured, the difference in body mass was amazing. Brad's probably outweighed mine by 2-300 lbs. when a lizard is so old most of his teeth are gone-well, you KNOW he is old. Brad even complained( in jest) that he wish his had more teeth!! as i recall, we either killed them on the same day or i got mine 1 day later.

Hello All

Thanks Brad and Jerry for the ecommendations

One thing gentlemen, I hunt crocodile, I do not shoot them, in my way there is a big differnce

It is not a secondary trophy or maybe I saw one shit,

I actively attempet too get my clients the biggest possible bull croc,

I shot a female last year, personally, and she went 14.5 feet

The biggest croc I got so far, weighed in pieces and lots of fluid loss, 890 kg , and he went 14.8 feet and he had an honest 2.5 feet missing, possibly my biggest and I think closest too crossing that mind blowing 17 foot range

I hae seen many crocs on photos, and am willing too bet a lot of them were not even close too what they were claiming too be

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
