All,

Looks like the window I have to head back to Africa is in late october.

Thinking about going back to the BVC to get a buffalo, but also wondering where I could go that time of year and get a shot a a great buffalo and see a diversity of plains game and have some great photo opportunities?

Namibia is on the list, but not sure Caprivi has the plains game.

Any ideas are very appreciated!

Thanks

Appreciate that! Yes we've still got a good one in Zambia and the diversity of game there is tremendous. The only problem is, I myself will be in camp hunting buffalo and leopard from October 15 - November 1 Smiler

Any other time before that works though!

That's a great time to hunt in the Zambezi delta in Mozambique.

Late October is great in Masailand or western Tanzania, but it's a bit late to book for this year.

Gonna be nice and toasty warm! Smiler

That time of year, I wonder if a bit further north might be interesting. Buff and Roan in Benin or Burkina faso maybe?

Greg when you shoot your monster cat are you going to invite me to your party? I am about an hour away on a shit road.

How is this for a Leopard track? The photo was taken last week behind my camp. The cartridge is a .375

Just returned from the Bubye conservancy. Hunted with PH Mark Bristow who was truly outstanding. I believe they still have some trophy and no trophy buffs on quota. Two of my friends hunting buffalo shot very nice animals and had great hunts. PH Andy Hunter guided my friend to a very nice 40" dugga boy. Our group harvested a full bag of very nice plains game.

Good lord! If I shoot a leopard with paws that big you better get there for the party. It'll surely be a noisy affair!
