Thinking about getting one of these. Seems to be mixed reviews on these. Does anyone have one and can you share your experiences?

Dan had one when we were in Mongolia. There's a slight delay in communication from what I would assume is the relay from the box to the phone, but otherwise it works well from what I saw.

I have had one for a little over a year. Works great and has the delay that is typical for satellite communications. I can tell no difference between the Go and the 9575 in that regard.

The GO is much more versatile and anyone with a smart phone can access the hot spot making it very easy to use. The upgrades to the Iridium constellation will supposedly improve data transmission, but not sure when that will happen. When it does, the GO will be a much better solution for messaging and data use.

I purchased a Go a little over a year ago and have taken it on 3 different African hunts and use it while hunting/hiking around home where there is no cell service. I have a sat phone and a Delmore Inreach but much prefer the GO. I'll be selling the inreach and sat phone. The GO is easy to use and very reliable. When paired with your smart phone you can text, email and call. The best off the grid communicator in my opinion.
