Folks - This is a "Lion Photo Call" of sorts...an AD basically... LCTF is """requesting""" MATURE LION PHOTOS to be used by us, to create an IMAGE for the campaign!

"Late-Bloomer", plans to work his magic on the pic we choose - so we are asking AR members to provide the best "live" lion pic you have, if you're "ok" with us using it.

Thank you,

He is not pretty but he sure the hell is mature. Here is a photo of an old boy from my trip to the Mara last year...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Mine was clearly a pen raised Lion! Yours is truly a wild Lion!

But, I am confused. Is it a blue nose on a mature Lion or is it a green nose?

I can't keep it straight.
