MikeBurkeZambia Leopard
How about a fun hunting topic.
Recently I was on Royal Kafue in Zambia. Andrew Baldry's client (not me) took an extremely nice leopard.
He should be back in town soon to post pictures.

218 BeeHey Mike!
Glad to hear it! And not one bit surprised based on the amount of tracks we'd seen the two weeks previous...
So spill: how'd you and Leon do? I expect you've got tales to tell!
Jane and I both came down sick right after getting back and that combined with a bunch of work I needed to get done here on the place has kept me from getting our hunt report written and posted. Not an acceptable excuse, I know...but it's all I got!

MikeBurkeWe had a very good hunt, enjoyed meeting you and Jane in camp.
I was sick my last day in Lusaka with the flu I believe. Leon brought me to a doctor where I was prescribed medicine. Feeling better now, but still not 100%.

FrostbitIt was three years ago that Joyce an I were first in at Royal. Many would have considered it a gamble. I look at that happy hunter and his Leopard and I smile.
Well done guys!!
Cheers

bwanamrmSerious cat. Congrats Andrew!
Mike,
Expecting a hunt report soon! Did Katherine make the safari with you?

218 BeeJim, it was a gamble...and one that has paid off handsomely. Andrew's vision, along with your initial financial backing, has resurrected a remarkable bit of country.
We're proud to be a small part of the success story that is Royal Kafue...
Congratulations to Andrew and Mike on a cracking leopard!

surefire7Well guys, I am the lucky and honored hunter to have had Andrew as my PH on this remarkable hunt. He indeed found me a beautiful cat and the credit is his.
I have always wanted to take a 35 Whelen on safari, and I finally did this time. My wife and I took a total of six animals, all taken with said 35 Whelen; Leopard, Kafue Lechwe, Hartebeest, Chobe Bushbuck, Oribi and also a Buffalo taken with my 404 Jeffery.
I have never posted a photo on AR simply due to my ignorance and lack of technical skills. Andrew was kind enough last year to both write and post our 2014 safari, "The Sound of Thunder".
As soon as I/we can educate ourselves on these issues, I will attempt to post a report (with pictures

). If you don't see this report, you'll know we're still stupid.
Thank you Andrew for posting the Leopard photos!
Mike, I am sorry to hear you ended your safari with medical issues. On the other hand, I'm glad you didn't pass anything on to me or Andrew.

It was great having you in camp!

surefire7Jim & Joyce,
I guess the hunt produced smiles for both of us. Thank you both for having the courage to be the first on Royal Kafue, and for financially giving it the kick start to get it up and running. I am grateful to be one of your and Andrew's beneficiaries.
Besides that, it was also your report we read on AR that encouraged us to email Andrew for our safari last year.
Thank you both!

MikeBurkeSurefire7,
I enjoyed meeting you guys in camp. Also it was very exciting for me to see you be successful on the leopard.
Doing fine now, I think it may have been a bad cold/sinus infection not the flu.
