Don’t send me to give them hugs and kisses!

Come over and do it yourself!

We are stuck 1,600 meters up a mountain side in the Alps.

Yesterday it was minus 17 degrees C!

I miss my camels! clap

We are not Christians.

We have Christian friends staying at our home for the holidays.

My wife put up a big Christmas Tree for us all to enjoy!

We have always been brought up to celebrate our friends religious celebrations!

Mike,

I follow a simple rule when it comes to age.

I am 74, and anyone younger than me is called young man or young lady!

Anyone older and they get labeled geriatric! rotflmo

We have had Kingklip and every other fish you can imagine, even Bluefin Tuna in the YAMAKI at the Sushi Bar at The Club!!
Today, we had the most fantastic lunch, in Durban, on "The Golden Mile" beach at "John Dory's"... 6 Langoustine (mini Lobster like, or Crayfish like) simmered in Peri Peri, and nice fillet of Kingklip, grilled, fries and onion rings, with fantastic South African white wine for my wife, and a tall-500 Castle Beer for me!!
Better than the ship!!...almost embarrassing low price of $39 with tip!!
I think this has to be one of the most beautiful Coast Cities in the World!!
We were going to go to the Maharani Hotel where we celebrated my wife's 30th birthday on our second trip to Africa...we will do that on the way back, MAYBE... this was so SPECTACULAR!!
You're right, KINGKLIP is outstanding white fish, yes, better than Halibut and Grouper!!

In Capetown, earlier in the week, after a shopping spree at the Victoria WHARF Mall, we had lunch at the BELUGA Restaurant at the Cruise Terminal, we had saltwater "super Crawfish" as they were out of Langostine.... Just SPECTACULAR, more Peri Peri, fries, and great SA wine... daily special!! We will be back there too... and they should have Langostine!!... $50bucks, I tipped cash, in Rand...

All is well in South Africa, people friendly and happy, no Dollar, Dollar, Dollar we saw on West Africa. Holiday time and everything booming!!

Actually, the cash machines were giving over 19R to USD!!... but they charge 15.5% commission on exchange... we just used our Credit cards... no exchange commission or fee, and best exchange rates thru our banks!!

On our first trip to Africa, 1978, exchange was R1.15 to USD!!

SA is a bargain right now!!

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL... AND A GREAT HUNTING YEAR IN 2025!!
