A client called today in a bit of a panic. USF&W said they were not going to issue his Elephant CITES for his March hunt in Masailand.

I remember this happening in 2008 or 09? USF&W delayed issuing CITES for the season until Tanzania got its paperwork together. I know they have to submit their elephant numbers, or evaluation or whatever the proper term is.

Is this the case again? The usf&w indicated this was the issue.

Anyone know anything further?
