In 2017 I'm trying to put together a cape buffalo trip to the Caprivi with Jan du Plessis of Sebra Hunting Safaris. If that falls through, my fallback would be a buff with Andrew at Royal Kafue in Zambia.

American hunts for the next few years. After my experience with Dip and Pack (story for another time), I am happy hunting state side.

Elk, Bear, Mule Deer are a sure thing!

At just ten months shy of 80 with arthritic feet and mild COPD, my overseas hunting is behind me. I regret not hunting an elephant when I still could, but I can't think of anything else in Africa I wanted and didn't hunt.

Save your money and bring home only pictures. I now do that with most things.

Looking forward to Lion hunting again and possibly opening up a new area across the Kafue that has never been hunted.

Also looking at remote areas for a giant croc for one of us.

In the immediate future going to Burkina Faso for savannah buff and roan with a bunch of guys from here on AR, and I know that will be a ton of fun.

Taking 2 groups of hunters to Argentina in March/April (no filming), in May, I will be trying yet again for a big brown bear on the lower Alaska Peninsula.

Then May/June going back to Tholo in Botswana for PG with my double with some folks from here on AR (no filming), but haven't finalized the rest of my schedule

Good Hunting,

Mahesh - I've wanted to hunt with him since Jeff told me about his hunt in the early 90s.

Hunting with good friends in far away lands, a couple I haven't traveled to before!

February 2016 - Burkina Faso with Bwanajay, Tim Herald and Mjines for savannah buffalo and roan.

August 2016 - Off to the RSA with three other couples to tour Krueger Park and do some wildfowl shooting with Kwan Safaris.

December 2016 (I think) - Hungary with Mjines and Rob Jolly for driven boar.

February 2017 - Uganda with bwanajay for Nile buffalo and many of the Ugandan plains game species with Uganda Wildlife Safaris.

April 2017 - Back to Cameroon to hunt the rainforests with Mjines for bongo with Mayo Oldiri...

Looking forward to great times with great people!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

My god what a schedule!
The last one makes me particularly jealous, it would only be better if you added one of those gorgeous forest elephants to your bongo hunt shocker
