I had a bit of time on my hands and reviewed some of the pictures from this past Ethiopian sojourn. Here is an action shot of a big warthog on the move. Guess I led him too much! Another bruiser. This one was on the Damaro Plain. Rich Elliott Rich Elliott Ethiopian Rift Valley Safaris

You need to post the IMG code directly into your post rather than the URL, unless you post the URL in the image window (which you get with the image button). If you post that way, use the one labeled "URL link" which brings up just the picture, rather than the URL to the whole page. Nice pictures, by the way! Nice hogs, are they in abundance there in that tusk size or were they exceptions ? Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

At one time they were quite abundant. A few days will still produce a good trophy. I once shot a big bodied warthog for lion bait in the Belean Hot Springs area of the Danakil Desert. Turned out to be a 15 inch and I hadn't even seen the head. Rich Elliott Rich Elliott Ethiopian Rift Valley Safaris

Nice hogs Rich, thanks for posting.
