I hear they are nice eating, but so protected in Zim, I've never been able to find out.

Have a great trip and let us know how it goes. I've been tempted to that trip a few times.

Enjoy! Just don't stake your life on a Blaser...ha-ha!

Seriously, get a Mauser 98 for peace of mind..

Shoot a big roan!

Godspeed and good hunting Jon! I am envious... always wanted to hunt Burkina Faso and see if it is anything like Benin.

Hi, Arjun's brother here. Jon's gun did not follow him to Burkina, don't know if it got there yet. I think all the Blaser comments jinxed him!!
I heard he shot a nice buffalo day before yesterday.

I think that if you look down that hole in the a/c toilet, you'll see where they carry the Blasers. Biebs's rifle probably got purged when they pumped out the turds. Big Grin

He is a buffalo, roan, very very nice hartebeest, kob into the hunt.

He borrowed my shirt - i was really angry with the staff when they washed and returned it to me before i left.

I was going to auction a used bieb shirt on ar to fund my next hunt.

He even let me shoot and play with his Blaser and lent me a 375h&h barnes to kill a kob.

Great guy to be in camp with.

Mike

There is way better things to eat over there than a Biebs. The camp cook was fabulous. We ate Buffalo filets, Buffalo fondue, roast Bushbuck, Roan rice and gravy, francolin and gravy. You will not lose weight on this trip.
