If anyone from MN has a good taxidermist that is well schooled in African game please let me know what is available in the region.
Thanks crl

crl, I would like to piggy-back your enquiry for an African plainsgame-experienced taxidermist but in central Ohio. I am going to Namibia in May and I looking for someone who can receive and mount my trophies when shipped from there. Hope someone can help! Lucky1

best guy I know of is tom lenort - toms taxidermy. he's in clarks grove (just north of albert lea) he's done my last 3 safaris and several friends as well. He'll have a booth at the sci fund raiser at the end of february so you can see the work & talk to him.
A very close friend of mine uses Gaston's Taxidermy in Minneapolis. He's hunted all over Africa as well the the USA and all of his mounts are truly fantastic.

If they're still there you might try calling Bwana Archery up in, I believe, Little Canada. The folks who owned / ran the place had done a lot of African Hunting and had some beautiful mounts in the store. That was 6 or 7 years ago though.
