Do y'all eat those catfish? Here in Tx they are a staple (for some at least) have heard the Vundu is not very tasty. Opinion?

Quite right Lane these are catfish and not Vundu. We do eat them and they are excellent. Here me and my son Ryan are preparing them for dinner. Foil and salt is all you need.

what's the difference between a catfish and a vundhu?? the long dorsal and pectoral fins don't look like what we considered a catfish. and i DO love catfish. BTW, NICE SABLE! jumping

Note the breached pectoral fins on this Vundu. The fin on our catfish is singular.

Ok! I'm not a African fish expert. Nice CATFISH! Now I do remember Arthur Taylor pointing out the fins on the vundu distinguishing it from a catfish.
