I voted at 09:30. Had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. Already more people had voted than in the last presidental election. My son drove home from college to cast his first election vote. When he voted at 17:30, turn out was at over 60% of the registered voters at our polling location.

I voted early - last week. It took me longer to get ID'ed and signed in than it did for me to bubble in for a straight party vote. Yes, I did read the ballot first, it just happened this year that all the locals I vote for anyway ended up on the Republican ticket...

That is a great idea. The older terms for anatomical structures are a total mish mash of Greek, Latin, and Eponyms. Even the younger doctors don't use those terms. Just as well. A lot of the little pricks are liberals and shouldn't be allowed to drive or vote.

I just want to add my personal thanks to all of the voters in South Dakota who managed to unseat Tom Daschle from the US Senate. Fantastic job all of you South Dakotans!!!

Great job reelecting the President. (No thanks to where I live the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia). I think it's just about the only thing I voted for that won. Just proves polls don't mean squat.

Unfortunately I am from one of those Eastern States (NY) that always goes Dem not matter what I vote.
With this election I think I have good news and bad news. The good news for me is that in two years when Hillary Clintons term is up as NY Senator, she will decide not to run. The bad news is that she will at that time (in my opinion) begin her campaign for the presidency. With Bush unable to run, and no VP to run against her, the Republicans will really have to put up an unbelievably great candidate to keep her out of the white house. Just something to think about.

As free thinking, gun owning Americans, I don't think that we should celibrate too much as the SOCIALISTS are now planning for 2008. What worries me is which Republican candidate will be marketable enough to keep the SOCIALISTS out of the White House in 2008.

When I awoke this morning to find out that President Bush won re-election I felt relief. Ten minutes later I found out that little tommy daschle would be leaving public service for a new career as a telemarketer; it felt like Christmas came early this year. Did y'all see that dyspeptic look on uncle teddy kennedy's mug this morning at the concession speech?

I realized God DOES answer political prayers. I didn't want to serve under Kerry. I didn't want to look at his wife's face for four years. I didn't want to look at his kids' faces for four years. (God, I thought Chelsea was homely.) I much prefer working for "W" and am PROUD to call him my Commander-in-Chief. I much prefer looking at Laura. The two twins are serious mega-babes. "W" is killing Muslim bad guys and taking the fight to them instead of the other way around. Yup, yup, yup... I'm a happy camper.

I'm drinking a bottle of wine, frying up some bear meat (barbecue, bacon, some brown sugar), and watching Kurt Russell kill aliens in the Arctic on one of the movie channels. Life is good.

And, sadly, here in PA, we (or at least Pittsburgh and Philadelphia) voted Dem again, just like 2000. What a shame that three counties can out-vote the other 63, or however many there are here. I'm completely and utterly ashamed.

Maybe we could give Philly to Delaware or Jersey or something. We'll keep Pittsburgh, 'cause that's where the Steelers are, and, the rest of the state can out-vote the libs there.
