How many shot did Mark fire on the entire hunt?

Candidly I did not count them. Four of the hunts were cats, two leopards and two lions, and I am sure Mark did not shoot on those. There were two hippo hunts and Mark shot on both of those. One buffalo hunt was just Mark hunting without a client (ration buffalo). The rest, as I recall, were buffalo hunts with clients. I know Mark did not shoot first on any of them, but whether he shot at all I cannot recall.

Make a deal with you. If I buy you a copy of the DVD in Blu-ray will you watch it?

I watched the video last night. The quality of the footage in Blue Ray is outstanding, particularly some of the leopard footage.

I like this video better than his others.

I thought one of the hippo charges was interesting, particularly when the client shot the bull in the jaw.

Excellent animals taken on the video on an overall basis.

Well, I went and done it! I purchased "Death in Full Charge" and "Use Enough Death". Very entertaining....great hunts, great animals. The hunter/ clients do seem to take a back seat to Mark Sullivan, but seem quite pleased with the experience. Except for Mark's "affectations", I thought he conducted himself in a proper and honorable way. He is his own best customer, as they say, but he seems authentic in his own way...and quite likeable. He has his way of doing things which some clearly find offensive....I suspect that his "affectations" cause a good deal of the disapproval of him. I would hunt with him in a New York minute.

That is the whole point of his videos.

HE is the focus of everything, the clients are irrelevant.

I really do not know what sort of client enjoys paying for a hunt and letting the man he is paying do his hunting

Watched both Sunset on Botswana and Historic Rifle - both are fun, in different ways. As a collector of pre-1900 rifles the later was interesting, his collection is awesome (could probably do a few more DCDs).
Ivan & Johan's Sunset is moving in a different (sad) way. But still worth the viewing.

Just finished watching death in full charge in Blue ray.The picture quality is superb and so is the quality of game taken.

Great dvd enjoyed the 2 hippo charges!

The improved image quality, resolution, contrast, richer colors, and better sound of the Blu-ray Disc are really something to experience. It is like no other purchased hunting film I have ever viewed. The hippo charges are definitely something to see for those who enjoy up close hunting of dangerous game.

Yep, BluRay does improve the quality of the video resolution.

Mark certainly does not glorify himself and anyone who knows him or has met him will tell you the same thing. That is simply an AR factoid that is regularly espoused by you and then marched to by your dwindling small band of Merry Men.

Mark continues to be invited to hunting engagements and organizations around the world regularly, his hunting dates are always filled, and his films are enjoyed around the globe by hundreds of thousands. Sounds like your metric for success is not very accurate IMO.
