Just spent a couple of days in my new Kafue property and took some photos of this brute. I reckon he is 46 plus.

Impressive bull.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Damn fine. Beautiful bull. My focus animal on my next trip over.

As a side question, do the TZ Roosevelt variety ever attain lengths over the "magical" 40" mark? I always hear that they are smaller, but by just how much? I'd be interested in hearing from you guys who've hunted them.
