My one and only time with trophies through JFK, it took WEEKS to get processed and then on to Dallas. Even landing in DFW, I've had stuff sit for a week or more before it got trucked out to my taxidermist. So don't panic yet...it's the government, nobody moves quickly!

Fauna and Flora has handled all of my shipments thru JFK which is 4 in total going back to 1990. If your shipment is to clear customs there I would recommend them.

My stuff from the 2012 Zim safari hit JFK just before Hurricane Sandy. It sat in a warehouse for a week. Rosella Quartarone from Safari Specialty Importers shepherded it through 4 different inspections, told Customs that her customer should not have to pay impound fees for 6 days due to a hurricane, then made sure that everything got shipped to the taxidermist in Michigan. In short, she saved me more money than she charged me. Robert and Rosella are good folk, and good at what they do.
