Headed to Zim with my son to chase super cats with dogs with Matupula Safaris. Expect a report with pics in a month. Should be intense (for the cats).

Have a great time, enjoy yourself, and come back save.

This sounds like a perfect occasion to wear a GoPro headcam beer

Have fun and enjoy. For rest of us is the old grind of making money and plans for the next trip :-)

Two supercats fell to .375 kryptonite. Warwick Evans hounds were amazing. Hoping the video is good as I dropped the camera when the first cat came out of the cave with a rather loud roar with dogs on his tail. Scared the fool out of me. Was told to check to my drawers after the dust settled. I was so puckered up it would have taken a 10 pound sledge hammer to drive a 20 penny nail up my backside.

Will sort pics and post a report.

Summary - Hunted with Tim and Mark 'Ellos' Ellement with Warwick Evans - 'Mr. Houndsman'. Two nice toms taken after a week of intense baiting, saw a bunch of elephants, nothing over 35 pounds but this was my first intentional look at elephants. You guys that hunt elephants are braver than me. They are a lot bigger at 30 paces than I thought. If I ever consider an ele, I want a bigger gun....

Excellent dogcat, look forward to the report. I am good friends with Tim though haven't seen him for years, hope he is well. Followed a wounded leopard with Warwick once - certainly knows what he's doing, as do his hounds.

Yes, they are seeing some 50+ pounders south of Hwange Park in the camp I was not in.
