PayPal is the worst, I've dropped them.

Subject: You can no longer do business with PayPal (Ref ID - PP-L-256464211637)

William L, we've permanently limited your account.

Hello, William L Shores

PayPal

You can no longer do business with PayPal

After a review of your account activity, we've determined that you're in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy. Specifically, the sale of ammunition, firearms, or firearm parts or accessories. As a result, your account has been permanently limited and you won't be able to conduct any further business using PayPal. This is permitted under the PayPal User Agreement sections Restricted Activities and Actions We May Take. You must remove all references to PayPal from your website(s) and/or auction(s), including removing PayPal as a payment option, the PayPal logo, and the PayPal shopping cart.

If you have funds in your PayPal balance, we'll hold it up for 180 days. These funds may be used to satisfy any obligations you may have under the User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy, including potential liabilities to third parties and to PayPal for each violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, including monetary damages. After that period, we'll email you with information on how to access any remaining funds.

If there are chargebacks that result in your account balance falling below zero, you will need to settle the amount owed to PayPal to avoid further action.

Customers who are permanently limited for violating the Acceptable Use Policy are not permitted to use PayPal services and are not permitted to open new or additional PayPal accounts.

You can find the complete the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy by clicking Legal at the bottom of any PayPal page.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

I thought that would happen.

Happily the funds that were deposited will (ultimately) get to the family.

This being a family site, I will withhold all other commentary ref. Paypal.

P.S. Thanks again Larry for all you continue to do for Phils family!

Pay Pal is not your friend.

I use them as little as possible.

The thing is, is that most gun clubs use Pay Pal for pre squadding and if you would like to sign up early you have to use them to pay the squadding fees.

Another system that is gun friendly needs to be started.

Cabelas ran into issues with the last credit card company and was forced to change banks that issued credit cards.

Pay Pal are a bunch of wankers- they blocked me trying to set up an account many years ago to sell my videos but to block Larry account for helping out a family in need goes to a new low- yes definitely time to find a different option!

Thanks for holding back, but I won’t.

That is complete bullshit to “permanently limited.” That term is utterly crap. I suppose it’s because his account is totally frozen from withdrawal of funds, but I’m astounded.

Didn’t PayPal collect a decent amount from just transaction fees?

Venmo has served me well in the past. In fact, I had to recreate a PayPal account for this purpose. They can shove it up where the sun don’t shine for all I care.

Wow... how much longer will Silicon Valley be able to play judge/jury/executioner? With so many other regulations in place to prevent discrimination this just smacks of hypocrisy.

Glad I mailed a check. Also - Venmo is owned by PayPal so they will not be getting my business either.

We looked into Venmo earlier . They wouldn’t let us have an account as I already had one personally tied to my cell number . They would not allow more than one account tied to a number.

There was no chance in hell that I was having money sent to an account in my name.

Years ago I read about this and
have never used them and encouraged many
that do to drop them just for this policy.

A personal check by mail is good anywhere in
the world I've found. so far I've never been
been stung with one on these boards.

I have had a few problems locally that had to be
worked out. Our local DA is hell on hot checks.

I sent my check priority 2 day on monday and it's in Orlando out for delivery today. Send it today if you can swing by the post office and it will hopefully make it. I sent mine in a small flat rate box for less chance of being lost.

We looked . I have a personal Venmo account. They would not allow a second account tied to my cell number.

The buff and the gun raffles are sold out.

We have sold 79 each for the elephant hunt and the hog hunt. There is a lesser number sold for the pheasant hunt.

Only a few more days to go.

Thanks to all who participated.
