I was scheduled to leave on July 5th for a buffalo hunt with African Silwane Hunters in Matetsi. Unfortunately commercial construction, or at least the parts of it we supply, has decided to take a nose dive this summer. Some how It didn't seem right to gather everyone together and urge them to go the extra mile for God, Country and our Company, then say "and I'll be with you in spirit while I spend the next three weeks hunting in Africa". The good news is that African Silwane agreed to hold the deposits for a buffalo hunt in May of 2012, so all that I'm out is the penalty for changing the airline tickets. Oh well, keep the hunt reports coming I'll just keep living vicariously through you.

Sorry to hear that, but very honorable decision to stay behind and "practice what you preach". Good luck next May, and I hope the construction industry takes a positive turn in the coming months.

Guess I'll just have to purchase some additional gaiters and other accessories for Zim in 2012 and keep your people working.

Terry,
Just one of the many perks of being a small business owner! I definitely feel your pain as I had to cancel a safari this year because as a retiree I invested my money in stocks and real estate CRYBABY. Maybe next year!

You sir, are a true businessman in the very best sense. I'm sure your employees respect you for the honorable man you are and I'm sure you'll have an excellent hunt in May.
