I returned from Zimbabwe on the 27th of June. Below these are the pictures of my labors there. We hunted elephant for 15 days - looking for something over the magical 50# mark, didn't get it. We did shoot one cheeky cow that charged from 11 yards and gave us little option in the matter. Along the way I shot leopard, buffalo, bushbuck and warthog. I hunted with Tshabezi safaris (PH Kirk Mason, whom I highly recommend). We were mainly in the Gokwe area. Great trip! http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/bwanaesq/100_0265.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/bwanaesq/100_0316.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/bwanaesq/100_0290.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/bwanaesq/8fb66534.jpg

Sir it looks like you had a wonderful 15 days! It is quite a "bag" you have there. Very nice photo's, I'd like to see more of the "She" ellie if you have more angles. I know a guy who has done 5 trophy bulls with www.tshabezisafaris.com Check his site www.rangemasteroutfitters.com I'd be VERY, VERY happy to have 15 days like you have just had, for sure!!!!!!! Jack OH GOD! {Seriously, we need the help.}

Bwanna, Excellent trophies...congratulations on three of the "Big 5" in one safari! Bigfive - I know of Brain and his accomplishments. We discussed them often during the hunt. He killed two very big bulls in the Mehenye area. I can only aspire to that accomplishment.

BigFive - I don't have other angles. At the time, I fully anticipated shooting a big bull, so I wasn't overly concerned with photos. I'll tell you though, it's quite an experience when an elephant squares off and starts to come at you! She was very good eating though.

Great hunt and photos. I wouldn't want to mess with you. From the photos, that leopard doesn't even look dead. It looks like you punched him in the nose and knocked him silly.

Shumba - it looked plenty dead to me! I hope it was! It had ridden in the back of the cruiser for about a mile before we took pictures of it. The bait tree was right in the middle of a water pan where a herd of elephant cows had been feeding, and we didn't fancy being there when they showed up in the dark!

Just the angle on the leopard. Both legs are there. They were dragging the leopard carcass around just before the shot from the 06. 165 grain Barnes X did the job. Dead under the tree.
