Indeed, these are outstanding. Hard to pick a favorite but I think the portrait of the lioness is fabulous.

I hadn't seen those before. Interesting compositions that represent who knows how many hours in the field. Thanks for posting.

There's a tremendous amount of dreck that passes for art in our area of interest. This guy is the real deal. Makes you realize how special black and white photography was and is even in our virtual world of the 21st century.

As a hobby photog bug bitten dude...

I am in awe at the beauty of the image.

B&W Images help the mind focus on texture, scale, mood and can comunicate more strongly like the print word over the spoken imho.

Thanks for sharing

I may have to pick up that book. Hopefully it's not full of propaganda. I would be happy if there was no text.

Stunning photos! The Elephant migration out of Amboseli circa 2004 has one fine bull upfront... WOW. I could not however pick any one as a favorite.

Are we sure they are photos and not "portraits"/pieces of art that have been created? If they are actual photgraphs of live animals, they are simply amazing for their composition and beauty.

Even if they are works of art (paper/pencil, altered photos, etc.) they are still beautiful.

I was going to make a comment about how much work on the computer must have gone into those photos.

Having looked through them again, I won't (although I suppose I just did) because people see that as a put down for the most part (I don't). These are truly spectacular images from a real pro (technically and artistically excellent). ALOT of work has gone into these, both before and after the picture was taken.

Very nice. No, Truly spectacular.
