I looked through their website and could not find a stance on hunting. A blanket Google search did reveal they are anti- Lion hunting as a right of passage for the Maasai. Of course I don't doubt they are anti-hunting but do you see where they actually say that? Based in Kenya believe they focus on Amboseli and surrounds. They do a pretty good job with anti poaching and human/wildlife conflict issues from what I can tell. | |||

If D. Joubert is on their board, well, its quacking. It is typical of anti groups to not be too open about that part of it until they have you. I wouldn't be surprised if that is part of how USFW got on board- do some antipoaching and animal-human conflict stuff and go from there. When I read the annual report, they are paying out peanuts as far as costs to local farmers. A good in depth audit would probably show some real issues regards to fundraising vs boots on the ground spending. Also looking at their partners- how many different little groups are there on this issue- looks like many. | |||
