I was 29 when I first hunted pains game with Wayne Wagner in the Makuleke concession of Kruger Park. Six months later I came back to hunt in Zimbabwe. Three years later, I moved to the continent. It got in my blood a bit.

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

I was 42 for PG, also with Wayne Wagner Safaris. But I hunted with Ian Brown (sp?), a PH who works for Wayne.

Plains game x19
Buff and Elephant.
Going back in September plus 1 Heart attack and 3 more stents.

The toughest part is getting others to commit and stick with it. I think it will be fun with others there but I am going anyway

I wish i had found this site before i booked my trip. I probably would have done something different.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

I have guided kids as young as 9 on dangerous game hunts. I do not belive they got a fraction of the experience or the satisfaction that the money paid should have bought.

I do not belive in kids under 12 comming on an african safari other than observers or perhaps to shoot an impala or so

I was 36. I hunted plains game and my father took a great lion. It was in RSA. Took my son on his first plains game safari 2 years ago at age 11. He shot a collection of antelope, birds and varmints. He asks when we are going back all the time! Hopefully it will be in 2014.
