Gents,
I need a safety detent for an AR -- the cat was "helping" during a trigger swap ... so after i picked up the parts, and all the bits in my wheeler screwdriver bits... well, let's say that the safety detent (not the spring) managed to escape...

It's round on the end like ball. Try a magnet all over the area you worked in. Also empty out the vac and then vac the whole area. That's how I find small parts that walk off.

You could probably make that in a drill if you don't have a lathe.
