i'm trying to put together a list of the nordic cartridges.
so if you see something wrong, please correct me.
if you can contribute with more cartridges or cartridge-names, country of origin or year of introduction, i would really appreciate it.

366 IH Magnum named after it´s designer, Ingvar Hörnquist, a 358 Norma Mag opened to .366,

366 IH Express a 416 Rigby shortened to 65 mm and downsiezed to .366 and a 30 degree shoulder.

375 Super Swede, 9,5x66 a 270 grain bullet at 902 m/s formed from a 404 Jeffrey case.

there are more as well.

The 6.5-284 is an American invention, Lapua and Norma just happen to domesticate it.

My two favorite Northmen are the 358 Norma and the 7x33.

One for moose, and one for the horse of the forest.

You can also add the 308 NOrma.

Hmmm good points...

Ok the changing of a case makes it a half breed. the Winmags would be half American and half English like Winston Churchil Big Grin


PS can you send SOME of your pretty blondes? I am thinking of the future....True blondes are being bred out...We need some fresh stock Big Grin
