mahatma red beans and rice chili

use your store bought or your own harvested jerky...this is for on the hunt backpacking by the way, boil water and add torn up pieces of jerky to rehydrate when the water is boiling add mahatma red beans and rice (dehydrated rice, beans and spices in a small individual packets) cook untill done and this will keep you warm and it sticks to your bones for those cold nights

if you dont get mahatma just buy instand rice dried cooked beans and chili spice great for backpacking, good yum-full to weight ratio

That's great idea!! Never thought of that.

We have used Hunt's Manwich with fresh deer or whatever over rice to make some really good sloppy joes. We just cut the meat and fry in an iron dutch oven, put in the manwich. Put the rice and equal amounts of water in a pot, bring to a boil and cover for 20 minuters and pour the Manwich over the rice. I'd rather have liver and onions and a little gravy with the rice.
