2-C crushed walnuts or pecans 2-C vanilla wafers, crushed 1-T conf. sugar 1/2 C rum or brandy (be brave + experiment!) Roll into balls + coat with more confec. sugar, place on a covered tray for two days in your fridge, no cooking necessary, to let the flavors blend. Take out + enjoy! As an addendum, Linda wants to try this next time. Same recipe but instead of the time consuming balls, consider making a roll on wax paper ala crescent rolls + then just allow folks to slice a piece off. Same taste + less effort on the cook. Never mistake motion for action.

Gonna try this sooner or later. Wonder how it would be covered in chocolate? ~Ann ![]()

Ann, you KNOW that everything's better covered in chocolate; interesting thought though, as we discussed before that recipes are a starting point for one to add variety. Never mistake motion for action.

I always roll my balls in chocolate. Coconut would be good too

Cocoanut would sure keep them moist. It's a staple in my buttermilk pie recipe. Never mistake motion for action.
