My buddy took a young rag horn this past fall. Man, even the Tender loins are tough! Is this typical for Bulls? My cow is great!

Once in a while you can find a tough animalwhich seems to have nothing to do with sex, age etc. I heard of someone getting a moose that they had to grind up entirely ! My experience was a doe that was very tough including the liver which is not even muscle tissue. The liver was made into liver pate. The rest was ground up and I had lots of fine pasta sauce [Bolognese sauce which has earned it's place as a classic pasta sauce.!!]
