Already have my corned beef + red new potatoes to start in the crock pot in the morning. Will add the cabbage later in the day. Another sauce recipe is a cup of sour cream w/ 2 Tbls. of Horse radish.Got that from an Irish Pub food recipe book. Never mistake motion for action.

Bet the kitchen is smelling good, Randy. I will have to try corning my own brisket next year. Have heard it is not hard at all. I may try your sauce as it would be easier to make a small quantity. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Randy, my schedule the past few days kept me from getting to my corned beef. Maybe Thursday, the second day of spring! There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Corned beef was a special meal for us years ago. Put in a pan, spread it from being one solid piece, add some tomato puree and lots of chopped garlic. Cook for a bit, and eat with bread. Very simple, very tasty and very narishing.
