NormanConquestAlready have my corned beef + red new potatoes to start in the crock pot in the morning. Will add the cabbage later in the day. Another sauce recipe is a cup of sour cream w/ 2 Tbls. of Horse radish.Got that from an Irish Pub food recipe book.

Bill/OregonBet the kitchen is smelling good, Randy.
I will have to try corning my own brisket next year. Have heard it is not hard at all.
I may try your sauce as it would be easier to make a small quantity.

Bill/OregonRandy, my schedule the past few days kept me from getting to my corned beef. Maybe Thursday, the second day of spring!

SaeedCorned beef was a special meal for us years ago.
Put in a pan, spread it from being one solid piece, add some tomato puree and lots of chopped garlic.
Cook for a bit, and eat with bread.
Very simple, very tasty and very narishing.
