Use a 3 to 5 lb bone in roast.

Put it in a crockpot.

Fill with Coca Cola to just cover the meat.

Cook on high about 5 hours or low for 8 or more.

Reputed to be a Native American recipe from the Eastern US.
Original recipe was for venison, and I have done it with Ball Tip beef roast. Pretty danged good.

Coke comes from Atlanta, in the early days. Only much later did it spread to the west !!! Didn't I see it in the movie 'Last of the Mohegans" ?

Also try the same cut with Dr.Pepper, not exactly an old indian recipe, but it is good.
