Anyone tried this powder in 1 oz and 1 1/2 oz 12 ga skeet loads? It sounds interesting but I don't want to buy 8 pounds just to try it out. Does it burn as clean as Clays? Grain size similar to Clays?

Thanks for any feedback.

Didn't catch the typo due to too fast post finger. Make that 1 1/8 oz skeet loads.

I switched from Clays to Clay Dot over a year ago. It is every bit as clean as Clays, US Made, costs less and uses the same loading data as Clays. It meters the same and has a similar flat waffer appearance. I did not need to switch bushings, though some report slight diffrences. It's best to always verify with your scale to be sure.

Use about 17.4g of Clay Dot, 1 oz shot, Win 209 primer, Win AA12SL Clone wad (Green Duster, Jammer XL-1, DRA 12, CB 1100 pink etc) in a Rem hull and you'll have a great load for clay games and dove / quail. I made the switch and do not plan to go back.
