It's great to have all that power, it's another thing to be able to use it.... or handle it as we see time and time again.

Sure to create plenty of Fun While It Lasted Moments

fine print: that's $50K on top of your new Mustang GT. Try $100K+.

For 100K you are far ahead of the game with a 2017 Z06. A hundred less HP but the lighter weight makes up for the difference...and the handling, braking and top speed just cannot be touched by any SS by Shelby. If you want straight line power get the snake....if you want it all get the Z06. Heck, I would rather have the Camaro ZL1 with 650hp for under 70K and still be able to hit 190mph pretty darn quick with excellent handling and overall superb performance.

iirc, this might be a re-run of a red car that was in all the car magazines a year ago. Tremendous horsepower, brakes not up to the task of stopping it, handling not either.

For some reason Ford likes to show these teasers, and then not even build enough for the high rollers of the Shelby Club.

The new Dupont Registry has GT350's for $129K, and the R model for $150K.

I am absolutely NOT a GM fan, but buy the Camaro, especially if you can get the convertible with all the good stuff.

I was watching J Leno's garage the other day. He was visiting Hennessey here in TX. Hennessey has a 750 horse mod on the current Mustang that he claims utilizes no internal mods to the engine. They ran it on a roadcourse and hit 207 mph. The goal was 200, Hell, I was impressed!

20 pounds of boost will do that...

20 PSI of boost is a LOT for a standard factory motor that does not have high end internal engine components. MOST auto's use around 7-8 PSI of boost, including the Z06 and Hellcat and they do have pretty stout internal components. That much usually can get a 40% increase in horsepower. How they get 750hp on a current Mustang engine, if it is a current factory standard build is likely bullshit or that motor is going to have a VERY short life....one or the other.
