I agree but if it becomes a collectors item based on special run and low serial number.

It is a truck that Ford is going to make millions of.

I like it and am going to order one and pay msrpin 24 months.

I do too. I would like to get a 2 door. I do not like the soccer mom Bronco (not sure what model it is) but I do like the one shown in the link but not the price.

My current ride's mileage is 33k. So, I'll watch the prices for the next several months. They are not Ford GT's with limited production which would justify a crazy price like this. Should be lots by next spring or summer if the assembly lines get to full capacity (hopefully).

Ford will make millions of them. I won’t live long enough for a low serial number to be worth much.

True

They will make millions of Broncos. Sold more pre orders innnew gen than the number of vehicles in old generation.

Ford has a home run in a hot truck and suv market. I see a Ford bronco pickup soon.

But never under estimate collectors

Just make sure you get a good set of walking shoes along with any FORD purchase.

You'll be needing them soon enough!

There are likely less than 10 Bikini Pearl 3.0 Diesel Wranglers in existence. COVID shut down the plant one week after Joyce got hers and the color was discontinued for 2021.

I joked about it being valuable. Shocker is I just looked on NADA Guides and it's worth $12,000 more than we paid for it new in March 2020. That does not account for the rare color.

I'm not surprised Frostbit.
New car prices went nuts lately and late model used cars/trucks are going along for the ride.
Can we attribute that to the Covid damper on sales for 12-14 months or so? I think so.

NADA publishes some outlandish values as of late. If you want to find an accurate value for a used vehicle plug the info into Vroom, Carmax, etc.

Car manufacturers can't get the micro-chips they need to build cars. The Ford truck plant here in KY has parking lots full of new trucks it can't push out to dealers because they need electronics boards installed and they can't get them. They worked out a deal with Fort Knox to store trucks in some of the old unused motorpools and the place is full of them. All waiting on microchips. Same is true for other makers.

Prices are up because supply is down and demand is high... It will fix itself. Someday.

I agree 100%. NADA seems higher than the real world, at least over just the last couple months.

Crazy market. I was offered sticker for my son's '18 Raptor with 28,000 miles in it.

My Ferrari (my last), which historically should have depreciated significantly, especially the V12s, is holding its own as well........

The one in the link in my first post was up to $100K and now it shows AUCTION ENDED with 0 bids and a starting bid at window sticker and "vehicle no longer for sale".
Somebody get caught pumping their own auction? Hmmmm.

Yes indeed. I recall that in 1973 I was making $160.00 a week + you could buy a new loaded Chevy P.u. for $3500.00. The escalation of vehicle prices V/S wages has not progressed accordingly.

Bingo Jim!

Mike thinks every new contraption that comes along is going to replace everything else that is long established and has a following.

Mike is the very definition of the "OOOOOHHH look .... that's shiny" type. If he were a fish in a school, he'd be the first one caught when the shiny new fangled fishing lure went swimming by ... all while the more experienced fish were yelling "it's a trap"!!
