My son just picked up this car. I have asked Bill/Oregon to post some pics for me. Hope it works.

Yeah, my son finds them + does any fix ups needed + turns them. He bought this one + 2 others already restored. This one is spotless + that motor has a lot of torque. He said he'll do a new paint job when he gets back from vacation, unless someone wants to buy it as it sits for $16K OBO. He also got a 51 Chevy convertible, I believe, I haven't seen it yet + a 68 vette, but that vette went the same day. He does find some good deals. I'm going to be selling that 51 Chevy P.U. in the background at some point. It's all original, except that the column shift has been moved to a Hurst floor shift. It's a sweet truck, but since my left knee went out, I can't work the clutch anymore.

Randy, your '51 has the starter button on the floor, right? So did the '50 Chev DeLuxe that was our family car until 1960, when Dad bought a new Dodge Seneca station wagon with the 318. He gave the Chev to my older cousin who was stationed at Fort Lewis, and he lost it in a card game! There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Coolest body style for Rivieras. Body looks straight. All metal? Bondo? Just curious. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Nice. Being from the north, we appreciate a clean body. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Nice? Did it come with the original rudder? Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

The Riviera and Toronado were GM's sporty cruisers of the time. Toronado had a chain-driven front wheel drive system. Ford had the T-Bird, which had ballooned in size by that time.

Thanks to my dad, I owned a ‘69 Toronado. Had a 455 cubic inch V8 as I recall. Still miss that car. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

That's the motor in this one too.

Are the buick and olds 455's the same configuration? I remember the issues GM had when it was discovered that they put some Chevy engines in Pontiacs. 1980's maybe. I forget when. That Riv would be wicked tricked out with a high cube V-12. OR one of these? Other brands exist of course. supercharger Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Olds & Buick were still different.

In 1977, Gm put 350 and 403 Olds engines and 305 and 350 Chevy engines in Pontiacs. My humble opinion is there is nothing wrong with the Pontiac 400 or 455.

My son's upcoming latest project in the works. He has a 440 motor that he is looking for a 1970 Charger body to drop it into. Anyone have any leads?
