| Here's one of the last small-blocks (346-inches) I built.....  It made 650 eager horsies (with a flat tappet cam I might add).  It resided in a 2,900-lb Barracuda. Yes, it ran like a scalded ape.

| Its an 8-71 on a 509ci with two 930cfm carbs methenol injected and runs on 110. At 10 lbs of boost makes 1000hp on the street. Drop it into second gear at 60 mph and stand on it, and those 18" wide rear tires go up in smoke! Cam 2 and burning rubber is right up there with Hoppes and gun smoke! |
