Does anyone know of a good source for a bullet mould for the oddball bullets I need for my "new" Martini-Henry Mk. II?

The groove diameter appears to be .462 inch.

I should add that I want to use standard, grease groove bullets, rather than paper patched bullets.

www.neihandtools.com or a custom mold from any of the better known makers (Brooks, Jones, etc).

Your biggest issue will be knowing how long you want the bullet to be.

Use the greenhill formula to calculate the bullet length for your barrel .

I use unsized .458 bullets with very satsfactory accuracy. Nominal bore size is .461 but they run as high as .465. Use straight wheel weights and lube with a beesxax wheelbearing grease mix (80/20). In my civillian carbine or may mates cape double we get arround 4" groups at 100m. Out of my military Mk II got about 6"

They might be able to furnish a 480-grain grease-groove bullet of the needed diameter. If your rifle's groove mikes .462, I'd use a .464" bullet.

I use their 350-grain gascheck in my .416 Rigby, sized .417", at a MV of 2100 FPS. Very accurate bullets!

In Australia we have a local maker of .462 x 500gn bullet moulds. I shoot these unsized in my 1879 Arty carbine and 1886 long rifle for exceptional results.
