I have over 80 lbs of small ingots I made over 20 hrs ago. Between divorce and move lost track of which ones are pure lead or wheel weights. I need to be sure before making bullets for black powder rifle. Is there a way I can be sure, test somehow?

A lead hardness tester will tell you exactly.
Mine is a Sako (I think). Others are out there.

You asked the same question up in reloading and you have your answers there. There are several ways short of buying a lead hardness tester to tell pure lead from wheel weight metal. It is actually easy to tell the diff.

I have a Cabine Tree tester and it is the easiest one to use in my opinion. There is a way to tell the difference between dead soft and wheel weight if that is all you have no mixes. Take the ingots and drop them from about 2 foot up on cement. The soft ones will go thud. The hard ones will ring. Like I said if all you have is the two types this will seperate them.
