That little Bobcat works fine with a better, hotter nipple than what's supplied by CVA. You want either a Hotshot, Redhot or Splitfire nipple. You also will need hotter #11 caps too like RWS Nobel, CCI Mag or Remington caps for best results in poor weather. Keep your blackpowder/Pyrodex powder charges at 100 or less -- keep your 777/Black Mag-3 charges at 80 or less for prolonged hammer mainspring life.

You actually use Triple 7 in one of those? I thought that was a no-no.

I only recommend FFF 777 for sidelocks & I prefer it for my inlines too.
